It means they really want the gig!
We try to give as many bands the chance to play at decent "circuit" venues with decent crowds.
Playing an Emma Scott Presents gig will get your band-name out there!
You will be splashed all over:-
Emma's My Space profile (over 17,000 friends!)
Emma's Facebook page (5,000 friends)
Emma's Facebook profile (over 2,100 likes)
Emma Scott Presents Group (over 1300 members)
Emma's Twitter profile (over 2500 followers)
Plus, your band's name will be plastered all over the O2 Academy and Wolves Civic promotional material as well as on posters outside venues! You know it makes sense!
MASSIVE EXPOSURE - and all bands need this sort of exposure to move up the ladder! Get involved!
If you'd like to be considered, use the CONTACT form, tell us some amazing things about your band and make sure you include your Myspace/Facebook/Reverbnation/Last FM/YouTube address, so we can listen to you.
Important: No time wasters please! Only bands who can be bothered to get behind the gigs need apply!!
MAKE SURE YOU INCLUDE - where you're based, any other Midlands gigs coming up, and any other details about the band that you think we'd be interested in - ie support slots with bigger bands etc!
All we ask for in return is for you promote the gig to your fans to get as many people to the gig as possible, and that you don't play any other Midlands' dates 2 weeks either side of the Emma Scott Presents gig.
I'm sure you understand that there are hundreds of bands who email Emma on a weekly basis, so please be patient when putting your band forward for gigs. Emma will listen to each band and will reply eventually. If you are shortlisted, she will get in touch.
A great way to publicise gigs is via radio airplay. You can buy Emma's book BREAK YOUR BAND: A GUIDE TO GETTING RADIO AIRPLAY here:
Tip: Sell your band! Give as much information as possible!
